Valves are an integral part of your bathroom, as they regulate the flow of water through the radiator or heated towel rail to which they are fitted. The radiator valve is thus at the heart of your heated towel rail, controlling the efficiency at which it functions. These radiator valves from Hudson Reed are super strong, superbly manufactured and made to last.
Angled or straight rad valves?
Well this all depends on the style of radiator and the way in which the pipework has been plumbed in your bathroom or lavatory. Predominantly where a heated towel rail is fitted with straight radiator valves the pipes would be coming out the floor, and vice versa so when angled radiator valves are installed the pipework would be coming from the wall. However designs are changing in the modern era and it isn't uncommon for the outlet of a towel rail or radiator to differ from the norm.
A good rule of thumb is that if the outlets are pointing down then a straight valve will get you to pipework entering via the floor with. If your outlets are pointing towards the adjacent walls an angled rad valve will be required to get you to pipework entering via the floor.
