Splash Direct is committed to a fast and effective delivery service. Depending on payment authorisation and stock levels we aim to despatch all orders within 2-4 working days. A confirmation email will be sent on the day of despatch and delivery can be expected the following working day depending on your orders method of delivery (see below).
Delivery Charges
We ensure that our delivery costs are kept to a minimum by using reputable and efficient companies, our delivery costs are found at the product page and are as follows:
Small Items = £4.49 or FREE on orders over £250 (Mainland UK*)
Large Items = £4.49 or FREE on orders over £250 (Mainland UK*)
Splash Direct currently offers free delivery on all orders over £250, UK Mainland only.
*A courier surcharge of £15 may apply for delivery to Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Channel Islands, Scilly Islands, Scottish Offshore, Scottish Highlands, Isle of Man & Isle of Wight. Any pallet deliveries to these areas may incur a further surcharge, please contact us for further information. Where this applies you will be contacted the following working day after the order is placed to advise of any additional charge.
Next day Delivery
When you place your order, you may have the option to upgrade to express delivery.
For orders placed before 1pm on a working day (excludes bank holidays), Express Delivery will ensure you receive your items on the next available working day.
For orders placed on weekends and bank holidays, or after 1pm on a working day, Express Delivery ensures that the item(s) will be given priority and despatched on the following working day.
If you have a mix of products in your basket only the products labelled as Express Delivery will be despatched on this service – the remainder of the order will be on standard delivery
Pre Ordered Goods
A pre-order is a product that we have a confirmed delivery date for but have not yet received in. If you buy a pre-order you will have reserved the items. Payment will be taken when the order is placed and the goods will be dispatched to you as soon as they arrive into our warehouse. If you have a mix of ‘in stock’ and ‘pre order’ products in your basket, the in stock products will be despatched as normal – any pre order products will be despatched separately on the specified dates.
We only put Items on as pre order when the Manufacture confirms a delivery date, unfortunately sometimes dates do change due to circumstances beyond our control however we will inform you if the date changes
Methods of Delivery
The date of delivery after despatch varies depending on the service used. We use a number of delivery methods to ensure your order arrives safely and as swiftly as possible:
Royal Mail (Recorded or Tracked) Delivery can be expected within 1-3 working days. If you're not home when delivery's attempted they'll leave you a 'while you were out' card telling you where they took it and where you can pick it up. It'll be at your nearest sorting office and you can pick it up when it's convenient for you to do so. Alternatively, you can contact the Royal Mail and organise a redelivery. If your order isn't collected within seven days and you don't contact Royal Mail, your order will be delivered back to us.
City Link Delivery can be expected the following working day. If you're not home when delivery's attempted they'll leave you a 'while you were out' card asking you to contact them to rearrange a suitable day for delivery otherwise delivery will be attempted the following working day. If on the 2nd attempt no one is home for delivery your order will be held at your local City Link depot for five days and thereafter if you do not contact them it will be returned back to us.
Splash Direct Delivery can be expected the following working day. Our friendly drivers will endeavour to deliver your order even if it means trying with a neighbour or contacting you directly to leave in a safe place. If this fails, our despatch team at Splash will contact you to arrange another suitable day for delivery.
Fragile Distribution Due to the fragile nature of your order Fragile Distribution will contact you within 1-2 working days after despatch to arrange a suitable day for delivery.
Welches Transport Due to the fragile nature of your order Welches Transport will contact you within 1-2 working days after despatch to arrange a suitable day for delivery.
International deliveries
When you place an order with Splash Direct from overseas, the full carriage charge will not be displayed online. When we have received your order we will place it on hold and contact you with the total cost of the carriage charge before we proceed with the order.
